We all know the story of Bargearse, and some of us even remember the original series "Bluey" don’t we? By re-voicing the classic 1976 police drama, the D-Generation created an totally new legend featuring Senior Sgt. Bargearse - the courageous, flatulent, beer-drinking, pizza-scoffing detective who belches his way to the scene of every crime. 

Bargearse ran for 10 episodes for the second half of Season 2 and was a perfect companion to "The Olden Days" from Season 1. All episodes featured the core characters credits in the opening titles with some additions which are listed in the next section.

Season 2 Ep.11 "Where's Me Bloody Pizza?"

This first episode introduces the core characters of Bargearge while telling the thrilling tale surrounding the theft of Bargearse's Pizza by Christopher Skase. In his own words "bloody potent!". Mick plays Christopher Skase.

 

Season 2 Ep.12 - "Where's Me Bloody Donuts?"

After receiving a tip off that ten dozen jam donuts have gone missing, Bargearse goes after the main suspect. Meanwhile Detective Glen Twenty follows up on some leads at the Cabana Motel. 

 

Season 2 Ep.13 - "Where's Me Dim Sims?"

Detective Twenty is tasked to acquire some Chinese food when Bargearse's culinary desires goes up-market. However when Detective Twenty's mission fails, Bargearse is forced to travel trackside to satisfy his cravings. Santo plays the role of Tiny the Jockey.

 

Season 2 Ep.14 - "Where's Me Bloody Chips?"

After a mix-up at the local drive-thru outlet Bargearse is not given his full order of chips and has to resort to drastic action to retrieve them. Jane has two roles as the Drive-thru staff & the worst dressed woman while Santo as the worst dressed man.

 

Season 2 Ep.15 - "I Dream of Bargearse" 

Bargearse takes viewers on a sensuous dream sequence including a preview of his new music album. Jane is the voice of the woman in the bar.

 

Season 2 Ep.16 - "For a few donuts more"

Everyone is concerned about Bargearse's health and it takes the Chief of Pork Squad to get him into shape, only to end with disastrous and life-threatening consequences. Mick plays Chief of Pork Squad, Jane as the matron and Judith as the nurse.

 

Season 2 Ep.17 - "In Bed with Bargearse" 

With everyone rallying bedside at the hospital, Bargearse's condition dramatically improves as he discovers his hidden powers. There are lots of character voices in this episode. Mick plays the barman, Santo and Tony play the two men at the table in the pub, Jane returns as the voice of the matron and Mick as the doctor.

 

Season 2 Ep.18 - "Regarding Bargearse"

After a tip-off from Tiny the jockey, Bargearse and Detective Glen Twenty conduct a stakeout in a local warehouse to catch the men suspected of importing dodgy 70's velour clothing. Warning, bald spots are exposed in this episode. Mick and Santo take on the roles of the two burglars in the warehouse.

 

Season 2 Ep.19 - "The Sound of Bargearse"

When the entire departments goes "smart casual", Bargearse refuses to comply with orders, unless it helps in promoting his new easy listening album. "The Many Moods of Bargearse". Mick plays the Chief of Casual Squad and Santo plays the roles of casual squad member and Detective Polo Top. 

 

Season 2 Ep.20 - "The Last Temptation of Bargearse"

In the final episode, the ABC management is growing tired of the backdoor shenanigans of Senior Detective Bargearse and is proposing to axe the series. Meanwhile Bargearse starts to realise that he needs to find a new direction in his career and explores all options before going out with a bang. Tony plays the role of the "pixelated-faced actor" from the ABC who cannot be identified. Santo plays Bargearse's agent.
